The direct-switching valves of the 47.009 series can be used up to a maximum pressure of 600 mbar and a media temperature of up to 90 °C. The maximum flow rate is 22 l/min.
The lever installed between the valve chamber and the solenoid system ensures a strict separation of medium and actuator as well as a minimal dead space. The media separation achieved in this way prevents suspended matter in the fluid from blocking or damaging the valve's solenoid system. Metal components such as the core, spring and bonnet do not come into contact with the medium, making it suitable for switching light acids and bases. The small dead space ensures that only very little medium remains in the valve body after operation. This is particularly beneficial with regard to thorough cleaning and disinfection.
The valve body, made of polyphenylene ether (PPE), meets the highest hygienic requirements. It is designed for contact with drinking water as well as physically and chemically similar liquids. Due to its technical design and choice of material, it is also resistant to alcohols, weak acids and alkalis as well as cleaning agents.
The valve operates with an energy-efficient solenoid coil, which is available in different voltages between 12 and 230 V (in each case AC and DC) with a power consumption of 18.5 W. The low power consumption, combined with the media separation, leads to minimal heat transfer to the medium, so that the valve is also ideally suited for temperature sensitive applications, for example in medical technology or laboratory and analysis equipment. Valves of the 47.009 series can be used for dosing, mixing and shutting off or for emptying containers.
