The new servo-motorized valve from A. u. K. Müller is completely media-separated and extremely wear-resistant thanks to it’s magnetic coupling.
A. u. K. Müller presents a unique product among motorized valves. The new servo-motorized valve moves the valve core by magnetic force. There is no direct connection between the linear actuator and the core. This means that the actuator is completely separated from the medium making it less prone to wear. The components in contact with the medium are reduced to a minimum.
The servo-motorized valve is suitable for setting up constantly variable controlled systems, for flow rates up to 18l/min at 1 bar, including a complete shut-off function.
The servo-motorized valve combines the advantages of a proportional valve with those of a servo-controlled valve through the magnetic coupling, in which the medium pressure itself takes over part of the stroke work for opening and closing. The opening of the valve - and thus the fluid flow - can be continuously regulated via the stepper motor.
The valve is specially designed for applications in which the flow must be regulated continuously and the withdrawal quantity must be determined in a simple manner. Typical areas of application are in heating systems, in water heaters, but also in hot/cold beverage dispensers, in equipment for industry, agriculture, air-conditioning systems, dishwashers, washing machines, water treatment systems and many more. There are almost no limits to the areas of application.

The low-wear magnetic coupling of the drive combines the principles of a servo-controlled valve with those of a proportional valve. The volume flow can be continuously regulated via the stepper motor.
The servo-motorized valve is characterised by its high suitability for continuous use and can be operated up to a media temperature of 90 °C. The servo-motorized valve can be used in a wide range of applications. Due to the servo principle, no pressure surges occur in the piping system. Due to the use of top quality, high performance materials, the valves offer maximum functional reliability and a hygiene advantage, which is ensured by a 100% final test with air.
The servo-motorized valve can be used in a pressure range from 0.5 bar to 10 bar and has a Kv value of 14 l/m (DN 7) to 18 l/min (DN 9) at 1 bar.
