Float valve, DN 13, Straight Valve
This float valve is a servo-controlled diaphragm valve of nominal width DN 13 for level control in containers, which closes by the buoyancy of the float.
When liquid is withdrawn from the tank, the float valve automatically replenishes and thus keeps the level constant.
If the water level rises, the float in the tank is raised and the inflow is throttled in proportion to the position of the float lever. This effectively prevents the tank from overflowing. In addition, the medium is calmed as the fill level rises and any influence on the float behaviour is reduced.
Float valves of this design are 1-chamber globe valves made of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide and can be manufactured with various housing connections.
The PE float is suitable for heated water up to 60 °C.
A multi-position lever is also available for this float valve. The lever can be adapted to a wide variety of tank geometries without tools. In addition, the universal lever can be shortened for use in smaller tanks. With the optional stainless steel float ball for the multi-position lever, the valve is suitable for heated water up to max. 90 °C.
