Pinch valves, squeeze valves for hoses
Pinch valves or hose squeeze valves are used wherever a special level of hygiene is required, for example in the medical sector, in analysis technology, in beverage vending machines or where special media are controlled or switched.
Design and function of a pinch valve
Pinch valves and hose squeeze valves of A. u. K. Müller are electromagnetically controlled and differ substantially in design from other valves. The liquid is controlled by pinching off a hose. There is no valve seat or diaphragm. This eliminates the formation of vortices or dead spaces.
The resistance to chemicals depends on the chosen material of the hose. The valve itself does not come into contact with the respective medium.
