Heat pumps are the ultimate in current sustainable and renewable heating and air conditioning of buildings.

To ensure that heat pumps operate in an energy-efficient and material friendly manner, especially in the autumn and spring, the speed of the compressor and thus the output of the heat pump is controlled by an inverter. This must be cooled reliably and controllably during operation. The proportional valve from the 10.004.126 ds series, among others, is used for this responsible task.

 

What is special about A. u. K. Müller valves for heat pumps is that they are not made of non-ferrous metals, but of high-performance plastics. Not only do they exhibit special chemical resistance to the water/coolant mixture, but their reduced conductivity means that they have less influence on the media temperature.  In addition, the control valves offer good reproducibility of the flow rate and thus ensure precise cooling. Low power consumption - as well as a long service life - is a basic requirement for a sustainable product. Also, A. u. K. Müller proportional valves prevent pressure surges in the piping system.
